About Me
Welcome to SKINSeine Aesthetics in Ste. Anne Manitoba, I am a Nurse Practitioner (NP) providing aesthetic injection and skin care for adults. My passion is to help my patients look and feel their best, while achieving natural results. I am a graduate from the University of Manitoba with both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Nursing. I have 17 years of experience as an NP. My experience has been the Emergency Department and Primary Care settings. My aesthetic career began in February 2019. I love this unique aspect of my practice and look forward to see where this journey leads.

Customized DP4 Microneedling

Microneedling is an FDA approved, minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure. Also known as collagen induction therapy. Using precise needles to enter the very top layers of the skin, microneedling stimulates the replacement of surface skin cells, revealing young, glowing skin underneath. There are a host of treatment indications with our DP4 device. Treatment creates controlled micro injuries to the skin in order to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The skin begins to repair itself.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The inflammatory effect of the skin is very short and fades significantly within hours from redness to pinkish that may last for 12 to 48 hours. Right after the treatment your skin will appear to be red almost like a sunburn. This redness will settle within 2 to 3 hours but the slight pink may still be present for the next couple days. Other common short term side effects include itching, discomfort, pinpoint bleeding or bruising, scabbing and darkening of the treated area. The skin may look and feel like sandpaper; These effects generally last 2 to 7 days as the treated skin flakes off and it is replaced by new tissue.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS
A reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, fewer signs of aging, reduced darkening of the skin, improvement in acne scars, improvement in stretch marks and a fresher appearance or glow to the skin.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS
Patients notice an immediate glow to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to six months after a treatment as collagen production continues.

The ideal course of treatments depends on your skin goals. frequencies and amounts will be discussed in clinic. Of course, ultimately this is entirely your choice!

This regenerative injectable or topical treatment uses your own platelet-rich plasma (the component of the blood that contains growth factors) to stimulate collagen and elastin production. PRP plays a critical role in tissue repair and regeneration helping revitalize the skin.
During your PRP, we will draw your blood. Your blood is placed into a special tube and spun in a centrifuge. The blood will separate and expose the PRP.
Once your PRP is collected, it will be injected into your skin, stimulating your body to create new collagen and elastin, the key elements to rejuvenated skin.
PRP can be injected into the under eye area to improve sallowness, loss of volume and brighten the area.
PRP can be injected into the folds from the nose to mouth, the "nasolabial folds".
PRP can also be injected into the scalp area to stimulate new hair growth.
PRP can be injected into the skin for rejuvenation.
PRP can be applied the skin during and after microneedling and Tixel treatments.
PRP requires repeated treatments, in most scenarios, to obtain results.
